Hearing this six-letter word can change a person and his or her family’s life in an instant: cancer. To some, it feels like a death sentence, while others question how it could happen to them. No matter the circumstances, the American Cancer Society (ACS) is working to give people affected by cancer hope and encouragement with events like Relay for Life.
