HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
Josh and I met in high school at the Hoover vs. Thompson football game in 2018. We both went to Hoover High School, but because he was a year ahead of me, we never had classes together. He walked up to me because he thought I was pretty and used the line, “You look familiar. Where do I know you from?” I fell for it, and the rest is history.
THE PROPOSAL
Josh took me back to the Hoover Metropolitan Complex’s stadium to propose–where we first met. He found a man that owned my dream car–a 1956 Chevy Bel Air in blue. We took a joy ride in it to celebrate. That was my first time riding in my dream car.
WEDDING DRESS DETAILS
I always wanted white bridesmaids dresses, but I was worried about us all looking the same. My wedding dress, however, with its silvery golden shimmer, looked perfect with the white bridesmaids dresses.
WEDDING PLANNING ADVICE
Try and take it all in, and have fun! I know there is a lot to plan, but you only get to do it once. Attend to the smaller details earlier rather than later. All the little things add up at the end. Talk to other people, and get vendor recommendations.
