HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
We met on Bumble! I asked if he was a parking ticket because he had fine written all over him.
THE PROPOSAL
He proposed outside of our family’s cabin in Gatlinburg during the week of Thanksgiving! It was magical.
WEDDING DRESS DETAILS
The dress was a perfect combination of classy and modern. I felt stunning and comfortable. The consultant at the boutique was so encouraging and made my experience wonderful. She had me try on dresses I never would have thought about trying, and I chose something completely opposite of what I expected! I had the classy lace with a stunning train and had the subtle sparkle. It was everything I could’ve imagined in a wedding dress.
WEDDING PLANNING ADVICE
Don’t let wedding planning stress you out. It’s supposed to be fun! I was a full time graduate student and was working full time. My husband was very helpful in making this experience smooth and enjoyable. Because we helped plan the wedding together, we had a lot of fun. Also, finding photographers you get along with makes all the difference. Katie and Alec were the best part of our entire experience, and they were with us from the beginning to the end of the wedding planning process.
