1. Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast

The 39th Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast is sponsored by the Hoover Beautification Board and brings city and elected officials, religious leaders, business leaders and the community together for a faith-based event. The guest speaker will be Lauren Sisler. Find details here.

2. Scholastic Book Fair

The Hoover Public Library will host a Scholastic Book Fair at the library! The whole family is invited to choose from a variety of materials for purchase.

3. Donor Dash for Life 5K

May 7 | 9 a.m.-11 p.m.
Veterans Park

The third annual Donor Dash for Life will celebrate the donors, recipients, living donors, caregivers and all advocates for organ, eye and tissue donation. Whether you run or walk the course, you will definitely have a wonderful time! Register here.

4. Celebrate the Family Expo

May 7 | 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Enjoy free family fun, great giveaways and much more! The event will kick off at 10 a.m. with a welcome from Hoover Mayor Frank Brocato and swag bags full of goodies for the first 200 attendees. Find more information here.

5. Ross Bridge Farmers Market

Fridays starting May 13 | 4-8 p.m.

The goal of the Ross Bridge Farmers Market is to provide fresh foods and products to the people of the local community in a fun and inviting atmosphere. The market will take place every Friday afternoon May – October. Shop local produce and artisan goods while enjoying local artists, kid’s activities food trucks and more!

6. SEC Baseball Tournament

The SEC Baseball Tournament features the top 12 collegiate baseball teams from the Southeastern Conference and will be held at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium for the 23rd consecutive year.
