Planning a wedding during COVID-19 made us so thankful for the chance to get married accompanied by family and friends.

Remmy, our dog has been a big part of our relationship for quite some time. The day would not have been the same without having her be a part.

The skirt had highlights of cotton lace all the way down, and we actually ordered the same lace to create the draped straps. 

I’ve always wanted a very romantic, fairytale, yet elegant wedding, and I feel as if my vendors helped me accomplish just that.

We went to rival schools (I went to Hoover High School and Martin went to Spain Park), so we were extremely thankful to cheer for the same team when we both decided to attend The University of Alabama for college.

Our wedding lasted until midnight, and I don’t believe I could pick a favorite moment. It was so exhilarating and absolutely went perfectly!

Preston and I met on a church retreat back in 2010. At the time, I was an eighth- grader at Bumpus Middle School, while Preston was a freshman at Hoover High.

Three days before the wedding, the city of Birmingham (where the venue lied) issued a stay-at-home order. Never did I think I would get married in front of 12 other people.
