Get the family together to attend this nonprofit festival, which will feature 100 exhibiting artists inspired by nature and design! Artisans, crafters and designers will show off their artistic visions for how their creations improve our everyday life. Hoover’s Thank a Vet Week Kickoff Celebration

The Hoover Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Hoover Public Library will hold a kickoff celebration for the city’s “Thank a Vet Week,” featuring a veteran’s program to honor this year’s 2022 Hoover Freedom Award Recipient, Ret. Col. Peyton F. Ligon, to start the festivities off at 2 p.m in the Library Theatre. At 2:30 p.m., the Alabama Youth Symphony will perform a concert.  Hosted by the Junior League of Birmingham, Market Noel showcases more than 100 merchants’ work, including handmade items, art, jewelry, artifacts and more. All of which will make great holiday gifts. Friendsgiving

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
