HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
We met each other through mutual friends in high school! I went to Spain Park High School, and he went to Briarwood Christian School. We were friends for about a year and started dating in 2016 and have been together ever since.
THE PROPOSAL
I was invited to go to The Club to sit in on what ended up being a fake meeting for his sister’s rehearsal dinner. We were told to walk outside to see where the pictures would be taken at the beautiful view overlooking the city. While looking at the view, he snuck up behind me and proposed in front of all of our friends and family, who were also hiding in the room behind us to watch our proposal.
PREPARING FOR MARRIAGE
We did premarital counseling throughout our 10-month-long engagement, and we also took lots of advice from our close family and friends.
WEDDING MOMENTS
We both vividly remember looking out into the audience while standing at the altar as we were pronounced husband and wife for the first time. Seeing all of our closest friends and family who came from all over the country to see us tie the knot was very special and overwhelming.
