HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
We both attended Birmingham-Southern College. I played softball, and Spencer played football.
THE PROPOSAL
My best friend tricked me into thinking we were doing a photo shoot with our dogs. After Spencer proposed, he had another surprise–he gathered our families and closest friends to celebrate afterwards.
PREPARING FOR MARRIAGE
We attended premarital counseling with our minister. We also did a lot of traveling and Face-Timing because we were living in different places at the time, Memphis and Hoover.
WEDDING MOMENTS
The moment that stood out the most to me was after the ceremony. We had a private dinner to just be by ourselves for a few minutes and take it all in. We got to sit down and process the fact that we were finally married! Also, before we started getting ready, I was able to walk around the venue and see everything set up before people started showing up. It was seriously perfect!
