Regions Tradition

Greystone Golf & Country Club
Each year, PGA Tour Champion players and World Golf Hall of Fame members compete not just for fame and glory, but also to raise money for the Regions Tradition’s primary beneficiary, Children’s of Alabama. Kitty Kat Haven and Rescue 5K Meow-A-Thon and One-Mile Whisker Walk

This 5K and whisker walk benefits Kitty Kat Haven and Rescue, which is a no-kill, cage-free animal shelter for cats. This race course has a varied terrain, including fields, trails and pavement. This race will be held rain or shine, and everyone is invited to participate. The entry fee for the 5K is $25 for adults or $15 for children ages 10 and under. The entry fee for the whisker walk is $15 for adults or $5 for children ages 10 and under. To learn more, visit here.
Annual Scholarship Luncheon

The Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce will honor local students and their earning college scholarships at this annual luncheon, which will feature keynote speaker Dr. Kevin Maddox, superintendent of Hoover City Schools. To learn more, click here.
SEC Baseball Tournament

The Hoover Metropolitan Complex
The Hoover Met will host the 2025 SEC Baseball Tournament, which for the first time features all 16 SEC teams playing in a single-elimination tournament. The first round begins on Tuesday before seeds 5-8 join on Wednesday, and the top four seeds enter the quarterfinals on Thursday and Friday. The semifinals will take place on Saturday and the SEC Championship on Sunday. For more information, click here.
