Hoover Service Club’s 50th Anniversary Celebration

In acknowledgement of 50 years of service, the Hoover Service Club will host this community celebration followed by an optional lunch at noon. The celebration will feature a 200-toy giveaway to the Hoover Fire and Police departments. The Flora Mae Pike Hoover Community Service Award recipient will also be honored. The Hoover Service Club’s 2023 recipient, Nia Settles, will share about the impact of the scholarship in her life. Oak Mountain Missions volunteer Cindy Cooper, in addition, will talk about the benefit of the Hoover Service Club’s donations. For more details, click here.
Hoover and Vestavia’s BEST Easter Egg Hunt

Rocky Ridge Elementary School
Parents, bring your children to this Easter egg hunt, and let them run wild! Attendees will get to participate in age-appropriate hunts, so everyone can go at his own pace and find some neat eggs. Children ages 5 and under will have their hunt at 9 a.m.; ages 6-9 will hunt at 10 a.m.; and ages 10-12 will hunt at 11 a.m. In addition to games, raffle prizes and vendor booths, children will also get to partake in free photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Bluff Park United Methodist Church’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt

With more than 10,000 stuffed eggs, this Easter egg hunt will be fun for children of all ages! Families are invited to attend and get their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny, play games, win prizes and more. Drawing more than 10,000 residents each year, Celebrate Hoover Day is back again this spring and will feature live music, a kids’ zone, family-friendly games and activities, food vendors and more. Hope for Autumn Crawfish Boil

The Hope for Autumn Foundation Crawfish Boil is an all-you-can-eat event, fundraising for childhood cancer research for Children’s of Alabama. John Hein, a Louisiana native, will be preparing the crawfish boil, and The Divines and Pioneer Chicken Stand will perform live throughout the evening. Tickets are $50 for attendees ages 13 and up or $20 for those ages 5-12. Children ages 4 and under get in free. Click here for more information.
