The Hoover Metropolitan Complex
Featuring a variety of artists and designers, the Moss Rock Festival is the perfect, family-friendly outing. There will be an art vendor market with numerous professionals displaying their crafts from painting, jewelry-making, pottery, carpentry and more. With live music and a beer garden, this event also makes for a great date-day option, too. Admission is $12 in advance or $15 at the gate and includes entry to both days. Join hundreds of thousands of people nationwide to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention. This walk’s proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, which invests in research, creates and promotes educational programming, advocates for public policy and above all, supports survivors of suicide loss. Handel’s Messiah

Riverchase United Methodist Church
Join the Alabama Civic Chorale along with professional soloists and orchestra members for the 78th annual presentation of Handel’s Messiah, which has been recognized as one of the oldest in the United States. This free performance is open to the public, but early seating is advised. To honor Handel’s generosity to the less fortunate, the Alabama Civic Chorale will be collecting donations of canned goods to give to those in need this holiday season. Learn more here.
