The City of Hoover’s Fireworks Show

Tuesday, July 1 | 9 p.m.
The Hoover Met

Each summer, the city of Hoover hosts its annual fireworks show at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium. Event attendees can sit outside in the parking lot and watch the 15-minute fireworks display. Patrons are advised to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs, and everyone can tune in to 87.9 FM for a music broadcast paired with the show. Red, White and Boom

Tuesday, July 1 | 3-9 p.m.
Brock’s Gap Brewing Company

Join Brock’s Gap Brewing Company for a night of food, fellowship and fireworks! With live music from The Patrick Barnett Band, attendees can also look forward to food trucks including the BGBC Truck and Tacos de Azul, along with family-friendly games and activities and more. At 9 p.m., the city of Hoover’s fireworks show will commence at the neighboring Hoover Met, and the show will be visible from the brewery. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to sit on during the event. Find more details here.

Astronauts of Albania Concert

Astronauts of Albania, led by emigre flutist Geni Skendo, is a indie band specializing in jazz, classical and global music. Attendees can expect “Balkan grooves, sonic excursions and international instrumentation.” Learn more here.

Mason Music Summer Camp for Beginners

July 21-25 | 8:30-11 a.m.
Mason Music Bluff Park

Mason Music Summer Camp for Beginners is the perfect summer camps for children ages 6-9 who have little-to-no experience with music. This half-day camp allows campers to explore playing different instruments such as the piano, guitar, drums and ukulele.
